Adair’s Saloon

Adair’s could possibly be my favorite ‘Honky Tonk’ around.2_adairs I was introduced to Adair’s years ago by my buddy Rodeo, and his buddy Matt.  Since that first visit I have had the pleasure of walking through the back door to Adair’s many times.  Until I played there this past Sunday night… the last I was in there was after Garth Brooks performed at Texas Stadium years ago.  Rodeo, Matt, Carol, Amy, Russell, and Dana all help to shut her down.
We went to the concert, and immediatley to Adair’s to celebrate the big event, and I still remember wering the T-shirt I bought with Garth on it and the song title, “The American Honky Tonk Bar Association”!
Lois was there, and she was nice enough to let us stay all night, stay a little longer, dance all night, dance a little longer….!
I love that place, its jukebox, and its patrons. 23980_1347783062021_1454651856_30920161_135189_n I am always ready to play at Adair’s!
Sunday night I had a great time playing with Tom Cheatham, meeting Ralph with the Dirt Road Gypsies, and was pleasently surprised to see Deryl Dodd walk through the back door, and to get him on stage for a few.  Thanks Adair’s!
