Thank you Shelly Swanger for taking this great photo of my close friend, counselor, and co-writer.  No doubt the best at keeping a straight face while on stage with me, and never afraid to be out front giving me a little space to hide.  Gibson J-45 Western.

  1. Hello, Bryan,

It was a pleasure for Sheila (wife of 40 years, one year at a time) and myself to meet you yesterday, Jan 13, at the coffee house just off 30A. You may recall that I never trust a woman with my credit card number even if the card machine is broken. We discussed “Bryan Paisley” just before Sheila and left. I have spent a great deal of time on your web site this evening and discovered that, just as I imagined, you are a “bigger” deal than it appeared at the time. I immensely enjoyed your web site music, especially Grain of Sand (probably got that wrong too). May God bless your talents and all those who are exposed to your works.

Indeed we are all just another grain of sand.

    Hello Dennis!

Please forgive me for not getting back to you sooner, things got a bit busy with the 30A Songwriters Festival.

Dennis, thank you very much for your nice post here. I love hearing from people I get to meet along the way, and meeting you and your wife, Sheila at the coffee shop was nice. Congratulations on your 40 years of marriage!

Thanks for looking around the site, and for taking a moment to listen to my music, and for your comments on the song, Grain of Sand. That is a very special song to me. I co-wrote that with one of my favorite songwriters ever.. Tory Jones. He is a great writer, and I am blessed to have sat with him more than once to write.

Thank you again for writing, I hope to see you at a show sometime, please say hi if that happens.

Blessings to you and your family.
